Perth mint Australia issues a new Silver Proof coin, which features the sixth release of the Perth Mint’s Famous Ships that Never Sailed series. It depicts the most famous fictional Submarine Nautilus – the creation of Jules Verne.Nautilus appears reverse of this 1 Oz Silver Proof Coin as if it is submerged in water. Ruins are depicted below it and two sailing ships above. The image is surrounded by an inscription: ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’ and ‘The Nautilus‘. The obverse feature portraits of Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the inscriptions: QUEEN ELIZABETH II, TUVALU, ONE DOLLAR 1 OZ 999 SILVER and 2015.
Each coin comes in a wooden display case in the shape of a book with a certificate of authenticity included.
